The Thomaston Garden Club has talented members who share their many secrets and tips for both growing and arranging the flowers and vegetables in YOUR garden.

OUR MISSION

To promote and cultivate member and community understanding of garden design, environmental responsibility and horticulture so that we may be better stewards for our natural resources and wildlife. We pledge to develop, enhance and preserve the civic beauty of Thomaston, while supporting sustainable conservation practices.

BYLAWS

OFFICERS

Officers Officers will serve two year terms nominated and elected by members. The club will have a president, vice president, secretary and treasurer.

 

MEMBERSHIP

Annual dues will be collected in January by the treasurer. The membership roster and contact information will be updated as needed and distributed to club members. The roster should not be distributed outside of the club for privacy purposes.

 

MEETINGS

Meetings and programs will be held on the 3rd Monday of each month from March through October unless otherwise indicated. March will be designated as the business meeting month along with a one to one and a half hour program or demonstration. Prior to meetings, an email announcement will be sent to members giving details of the meeting along with the location.

 

COMMITTEES

We ask that each member participate in at least one committee.
